Hello,
What kit would you recommend applying to a 94 ED XR8 Sprint? I have the standard disc and pad setup at the moment and believe I really have two options; 1 - Upgrade the discs to something slotted or cross drilled and put better pads on - obviously the cheaper exercise or 2 - Get a new front and rear brake kit. What do you have that would fit and what sort of ballpark figure would I be looking at for price in this option (including the calipers, discs and pads). Do you do 2 and 4 piston kits? Cheers, Matt |

The first option is the cheapest for sure and allround with pads would start from about $900. The second option we have two front upgrades but no rears. 1.2 piston with 330mm rotors and no offset change - from $2200 2.4 piston AP Racing caliper on two piece 343mm rotors - from $4200

We do the kit for EA EB ED EF and EL. The ED and earlier models have a different ABS ring though and can prove difficult to get.

AP Racing calipers fitted to these vehicles require a larger 355mm disc or even bigger so there is enough room for clearance and to make the bracket as there is no room when going smaller rotor sizes on multi piston calipers but we have done a 6 piston wilwood under 17" wheels i think a 330mm disc as the wilwood caliper is smaller bodied.

Twin piston caliper with 330mm discs is 17" but 18" or larger for the bigger kits.
