Hey guys I've got a cracked manifold on my AU2 xr8 and I'm looking at replacing, can't really be bothered paying some of the ridiculous prices that the stock manifold so i thought i would have a look at going aftermarket and found this in the states...
http://www.blueovalindustries.com/en...95/en5010.html i could get it here for around $400 (which seems to be the starting price for a stock manifold???? ) i was wondering if anyone knows if this is junk or reasonable product. The motor is supercharged and not really fussed if theres other manifolds that make 3 hp more and twice the price, i just don't want it too crack, or be total rubbish. Is this even compatible on on my motor? in terms of T/b and everything else bolting straight up, I'm assuming it is. any help would be great cheers |

Looks like a copy of an Edelbrock. Would be ok but not ideal IMHO.
Id go a Trickflow or Edelbrock one.

Its Prochump... So it might fit, or it may not. It might seal, it might not.
If $$$ are an issue I suggest a look at the Professional Products Typhoon intake, similar style to this unit (Edelbrock Performer 5.0 copy) but the finished quality is more consistent. |

Cheers guys yer the quality is what i was concerned most about and i have been able to find any reviews on them so looks like they're out... found a few edelbrocks on amazon that seem reasonable price so might invest in those or hang out for someone sane selling a stock intake at a reasonable price.
