Any other new FiST owners notice a click when you depress the clutch? Just at the top. Not when fully depressed.

Yep, mine has done it the whole time.
I tried googling it, and ended up at an American Focus ST forum (which has a sister FiST forum) According to members on that site, the click is due to the heavier duty clutch in the ST twins and is perfectly normal. Apparently this is mentioned in the instruction manual...I flicked through but couldn't find any mention. On my phone now so I'll post the link next time I'm on my lappie at home. |

Yeah it's a 'twin plate clutch thing' from memory. I'm no mechanic though so the link should assuage your fears haha.
The other day I was next to an Opel Astra OPC and I could hear a similar click, click on gear changes. |
