Hi,
I've just replaced the radiator on a manual '89 Laser KE. On the bottom of the old radiator near the drain stopcoc.k is a fairly large bolt. It looks like there used to be 2 wires that fit into the bolt but they've been yanked out. I've put the old bolt into the new radiator but I'd like to know what its actually there for and what should be connected to it. The temperature gauge inside the car is working fine, the fan is kicking in when required so I'm guessing it might just be some kind of warning light or something. The car seems to run perfectly fine without it but I'd still like to find out if it should be repaired or not. If anyone can shed some light I'd appreciate it. Cheers, Kev |

Not really sure what bolt you're talking about mate. If you can get a picture, I can compare it to one of my two KE's i've got.
