^^ yep there sure is. The 3.2 was a CFI motor and was dropped about 9 months after EA's came into production from memory. I would also assume the engine bays look almost identical to a 3.9 CFI.

How can 3.2L's be still alive, they were gutless and chewed more juice then the 3.9L. Work of the devil if you ask me

There were ideas many moons ago that pulling the rotating assembly out of the 3.2 and throwing it in the 3.9/4.0L block would create something that could rev a bit..

that would be the same as a normal 3.2 motor, they just had a much shorter stroke crank, same bore size. be a nice motor in a cortina with individual runner efi and a rev limit of 7000.

the 3.2 had much smaller valves.
Would be interesting to create a mpi 3.2 with a 4.0 head. I guess chuck in a cam suited for high rpm and you'd justabout make enough power to match a stock 3.9 due to being able to rev it harder. the torque wouldnt be there tho |

It is just a 3.9 block with a few different internals. Not that exciting.

For anyone interested, i believe turbo tonies new motor being built for the caravan tower is actually getting destroked. Not sure if they'll be using a 3.2 crank, but I will try to find out some more information soon...
