Hey guys have a strange issue with my car. When the car is idleling on flat level ground the engine makes no abnormal noises but when it's idling on an uphill incline It makes a soft knocking sound irregularly. Ive just changed the oil today so there is plenty of oil in the engine and the oil pressure is also correct any one have a similar experience before?

Does it happen when idling only facing up or down or both ways?

Is it a 6?
Have you popped the hood to try and isolate the noise? (Hold a long screw driver up to your ear and the other end on various parts of the engine). Could also be power steer pump or trans fluid low?

What if you put your foot on the clutch slightly? Does it change or go away?

nah it doesn't change at all even when clutch is fully engaged so I'm assuming that rules out the transmission side of things

Oil level too high, uphill the excess oil runs to rear of sump and crankshaft slaps the oil as it rotates.
