Love using the rotary and the results you can get from them but working by hand is what I do most of the time. Lake country's are another quality brand Stayer (italy) and metabo have some superb rotaries.

We use
Green Stuff (very aggressive cut) & G3 (Mid/heavy cut) with the Meguiars Soft Buff Foam Cutting Pad - W7000 Quick detailer (mid cut/polish) & various other polishes with the Soft Buff Foam Polishing Pad - W8000 And 3M Glaze (swirl remover) and some wax's with the 3m black waffle pads. We also have a Varible speed Matika Buff which stands up to the work very very well. Considering the lil sucker usually does about 6-10hrs work each day (2 detailers 1 buff and about 4 full cars a day). Will be looking at the same model when this one dies, or we pull our fingers out and actually buy a 2nd one...
