The usual thread who's going tonight?

My BA XR8 Ute only has the standard clutch in there at the moment.
My BA XT 3 valve sedan is on the hoist with no clutch.

You might say my cars don't like clutches i should buy an auto.

So please don't can me i am taking the wife's VY SS Commodore out to see if i can upset her clutch to ........LOL : :

Yep, seeing as both my BA's are not in a racing mood at the moment i took the wife's VY SS for a bit of a spin. Certainly a different ride. 4 Runs in the mid 14's in everyday street trim. I think she even had the weeks shopping in the boot.

I'll do an edit and put some decent tyres on it next time and try again...... :voldar02:

Plenty of BA Fords there in the last 2 weeks....
The best pass i seen from a BA GT was around 13.5 105mph....
there was a corolla running 18 to 19 sec pass's....NICE BONNET SCOOP looked like a low mail box..., guy even removed the headlight for that little bit of extra grunt...
Nathan Higgins ls1 Ute had some new performance equipment on it, 8 T/B setup....10.7

EABATurbo consent 10 sec passé's were good, what i like about this car he doesn't sit there for a long time before he takes off...does this car have a cage?
Craig stop driving that Holden, its just not right... e its slower than your XT.

Something like that he could take off at redline and it still wouldnt pull ya uncle of ya aunty, let alone wheelspin on a sticky startline!

In all seriousness it's good to see people having a go no matter what the time or model. Better doing it there than the street

Couldn't have said it better myself, the more people willing to get on the 'legal' race track the better.
Keep it off the streets kiddy's.!!.
Curious, have any members from ere gone down to the Casterton(vic) drags or the Coonawarra(s.a) drags for a meet.?.

Anyone see a yellow VLT running with convo's?

Apparently ran a 10.60 after wheelspinning with a 1.86 60 footer, and backing off for 1/4 of the track?

Yeah, apparently JPC predicted a 9.30 if the it hooked up and stayed straight.

It made 510rwkw before the dyno reached 'max speed limit' and stopped recording power.

That was at around 7,000 rpm and it revs almost to 9,000rpm .....

Made 380rwkw on pump fuel.

It usually 60 foots in 1.4, so there's already .46 of a second out of the hole.

It was just a tune session to see it it stayed straight. It didn't :(

Back to the workshop.....

Both cars are running very well, XD seems to be in or around the 9's most runs.....
The XC is still pulling customary big wheel stand, looks to me like the car is going straight now....
