Default Stolen cars recovered in Logan raid

I saw a story on the 6pm news tonight and could find only one online article about it. 14 cars were hiding inside a Logan property.

Most of the cars were heavily stripped down with parts lying everywhere. I like hearing stories about alleged stolen property being uncovered.

Quote:
Police say they recovered 14 vehicles, dangerous drugs, and a 'large amount' of stolen property in a raid in Logan on Saturday.

Officers from Taskforce Integrate and the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at an Ariel Avenue address where they located what they described as 'an amount' of property, including fourteen motor vehicles and assorted vehicle components.

Police have charged a 40-year-old man from Kingston with possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of motor vehicles, receiving tainted property, possessing utensils that had been used in drug offences, and possess property suspected of being used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.

He is scheduled to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on January 27.

Car thieves deserve to be dragged to jail chained to a cop car.

It's just you, at one with the road and the car.
