I'm on a roll with positive threads about Ford at the moment...
You may have heard that Ford Aus had a role in developing the new Escort (Focus based sedan for the Chinese market)? Well it appears that Ford Aus, in fact, actually have the lead role with developing the car and according to CA's sources, it's as big a role as what Ford Aus had with the Ranger. I don't mind the modern version of the escort in that picture. Not sure on the colour but for a cheap cAr it looks cool and deff escort like!

im not liking all these latest front end grilles
the escort and the new f150 with that triple thing going on also not a fan of the hex look with the angles which is prob why i dont like the later g6e bottom grilles but like the 2008 one

I wonder what the definition of "almost" is for their unnamed source? T6 Ranger platform IMO is uncomparable to any other work FoA's RnD department has done till now.
