As stated in the thread title, what is the wheel offset for an AUII?
Thanks in advance. EDIT - Nevermind. I found out. 5 stud. 114.3mm PCD +35 offset

Yep that's it - you can go +/- 5mm on the offset without too many dramas.

So I can go in between +30 and +40 and it should still be OK?
Anyone know what the wheel offset on a EL was?

It should just about be rubbing on your guards. I know my old AU XR6 did when I fitted 17X8s on the back. Don't think I actually managed to fit them to the front as they hit the guard anyway. But if you have EL 16 x 7s, then you may be OK - would look funny though, as the rims would be sitting outside the guards.

The rims do sit outside the guards. If you look at it head-on, it looks real aggressive. I'm still gonna need to replace them otherwise, cause it isn't helping steering, and I've had them re-aligned.
I'm still not happy with the guy who sold it to me though, lying scumbag.

Just remeber that as part of RWC requirements, it state that your rims/tyres have to be inside, or level with the guard edge. These rims would make your car unroadworthy.

+45 means it will go further inside the guard. Hit and miss whether it will cause you issues because of brake caliper thickness. I wouldn't have gone any bigger than +35 to be honest

hmm, these are 20' rims & new tyres REALLY cheap under half price but they are off a Mitsubishi 380.
a tyre site i cooked up has AUII offset at 36 & the 380 at 45, i was thinking it'll be close, was more concerned about the clearance for the suspension, but i guess +45 means it sits further out. |

Mitsubishi 380 will have the same stud pattern and offset, but I'm pretty sure that the centre hole will be too small so you'd need to get them modified to fit onto the AU's larger hub centre.

45 offset probably would be illegal in some states. It will reduce your track width by 20mm. Whilst some states allow 25-26mm increase or decrease, some states it's illegal for any decrease.
