Hey guys and gals i just got king superlows all round in with monroe gt shocks installed and it sits pretty awsome. The only problem is now ive got a clunk from all 4 wheels. any ideas of the cause, or even better possible solutions would be appreciated.

lower shock mounts need re-torquing maybe.
they have a tendency of working loose after you do them up, best to retighten them when the cars weight is on them.

Yep, lower shock mounts I reckon too. Happened to my car too, but just on the left rear.

I'll agree too. I had a clunk, was lower shock bolts

when u tighten them thow, dosent the tiers still have to be touching the ground? i have this problem atm

Thats what i said, tighten them with the cars weight on them.

Yup, these guys are right. Id almost bet money you need to re-tighten the lower shock bolts with the car weight on them. Happened to me as well

oh, didnt read that he had it all 4 corners. I only had the clunks from the rear

thanks for that fellers. ill go have a crack at fixing that up now. the cluck from the front isnt as obvious and only really when i hit larger bumps... i dunno bout that. hmm, ahh well thats for the help

Clock up another one here who didnt do the lower shock mounts up while it was on the ground, and then got clunking noise form the rear...

Doing them up on the ground or in the air doesn't affect them coming loose. You're meant to do it up on the ground so all the bushes are in the neutral postion. Torque them up with out load on them and they'll flog out in no time at all.
