Default Tru Blu at Lakeside

DJR had there 2 seater cars giving rides to those who wished to pay today.
Bowdens also had the Tru Blu falcon and the Ford Sierra there and did a few laps with Dick driving Tru Blu. Here is a few pics.

Not sure about that. Was like it before they took it out on the track. Could have had a mishap loading it to bring it down from their workshop at Buderim.

The simplicity of the XD, it truly was a road car.

If they said I could take any one of those three racecars .......... I would take TRU-BLU handsdown without a second thought !

I was at Lakeside the day Dick soundly thrashed the King of the Mountain to win his first ATCC title ! I remember it like it were yesterday !

Congratulations must go to the Bowdens, not only for restoring these irreplaceable cars back to their original racing specs but also getting them out for a thrash so everyone can enjoy seeing them in their natural environment.

Bring them to Mallala!!!!! PLEEEASE!!!!

A few years ago I was lucky to have a run around Mallala with Wilson Security in their Commodore V8 Supercar. (It was supposed to be D'Alberto's BF but that was destroyed in an accident a few weeks prior) Now that Wilsons are sponsoring DJR - not only will I be trying my hardest to get a ride this year but IF they could bring Tru-Blu or Greens-Tuf then I'd be the happiest bloke on earth!!!!

Missing only Greens Tuff Falcon and then all three of my fav DJR cars are covered.
The Sierra looks a little tired but still tough. The XD looks mint...
