He will "do time" but don't expect a hefty sentence, especially if this is the perpetrator's first offence.

First he slaughters six defenceless miniature horses then has a security guard for his court appearance, I didn't think it was possible to stand let alone walk without a spine.....

yes, $30,000 for home extensions but the indignity of it all is that the law treats this abomination as "property damage".........in this case, as in so many others the law is an ***.

simply not right.....I'm not surprised he hired a security guard........

I would have thought that there would have been charges relating to animal cruelty?????

Apparently the charges of cruelty may be laid at a later date, I don't think the proceedings are finished as yet.

common sense would dictate that there be more charges than these that could be brought to bear........Seems far too lenient to me.

Unfortunately these "people" live amongst us, we have friends who adopted a little abused pup, some halfwitted mongrels got to her and cut her ears and tail off, burnt her with cigarettes and doused her with kero then set her alight.

our friends beat us to the vet or she would be here with us, apparently there were more than 100 people from all over the state wanting to adopt the little pup and give her a loving home after seeing it on the news....Despite the size of the vet bill, which was paid for by donations from anonymous good hearted folks.

pleased to say she is doing very well 3 years on and shows no ill affect of the abuse.

why these crimes are seen as "trivial" I really can't fathom, all these animals want is a little affection in return for a lifetime of joy.

I couldn't imagine what went through the owners mind when he found the lovely little horses with throats cut.......they have my sympathy for what that's worth.
