I'm keen to upgrade my mono screen but I don't want to do it now only to find the fg2 touch screen upgrade is possible a couple of months later.

There is a touch screen sat nav demo from a FG G6E on youtube..... cant remember who it was that does it.

sorry fitting fg2 screen into fg1 cannot be done they work on different protocol which make this task impossible.

the one on youtube is a ftermarket screen, not FG2

I found out they overlay the glass panel over the top of exisiting, then put there hardware in to have touchscreen GPS functionality that works with ICC.

Problem is, it needs a toggle switch to turn GPS on and off for screen display.

How does your GPS intergrate with ICC? Is it always displaying?

our nav dosent require any toggle switch, it comes on by pressing the remote control,

if you mean for series one FG we dont recommend adding touch screen layer simply cause the genuine screens not made for it.

Is there an alternative to this, installing an aftermarket screen to replace the factory one? Looking at putting in a car PC and touchscreen is a must..

we only have touch screen kit only when adding a nav kit, and only used a s touch when nav in operation
