Wagon and Fairlane centre mufflers

Just wondered if anyone knows if the centre muffler and resonator section is interchangeable between the wagon and Fairlane I6? the wheel base and cat are the same so the bolt up should be the same so I guess the question is, will the wagon tail pipe section bolt up to a Fairlane centre if I was to try and fit it to the wagon? Visually they look pretty much the same but unless I get them side by side I can't really tell if they are the same length with the same bend angles.

I can say now, they wont fit. AU Wagon is the same as EF Wagon, and when I fitted my EF Wagon's center section to my old AU Fairlane, it hit the floorpan which made it sit lower (center section was too short). Even with it extended the section that runs under the diff is way different too. The outlet on the rear of the muffler is on the opposite side.


Trying to fit a Fairlane exhaust to a wagon would make the center section too long and hit the diff.
