Hi all,
I've been thinking about selling my EL Fairmont Ghia as I have recently purchased a new car and now days my Ghia just sits around not doing much. My partner won't drive it because she would prefer a smaller car. It's generally in good condition for it's age - and has been converted to a 5 speed manual! Along with a few other things including 17 inch wheels, full exhaust system, lowered etc etc. What I'm wondering is how much you guys think it would be worth selling for? Here are a few pictures for a reference; and one from when I first purchased it back in 2011 Cheers, Ryan. |

Ask for $5,000 - see where it goes from there

How many KMs?
I think it would sell for $3-3.5 pending on a few things.

Thanks for the replies, it's good seeing other people's input.
KM's is a tricky one as it has a high series cluster in it which I put in quite a while ago. It reads around 256,xxx but the car would actually have something closer to around 320,000-330,000. I have serviced it every 5,000 in the 3 years I've owned it and has had quite a lot of general maintenance over the years so it still runs very nicely regardless. Manual gearbox was reco'd when I purchased it. Although, there are some bad points; it does have rust starting to form on the driver's side sill. It also has clear coat peeling on the driver's side door above the window. There are also a few little imperfections, but it's generally in good condition for it's age. With all this taken into consideration, would people see asking $3,000 sound fair? It's not everyday you come across a 5 speed EL Fairmont Ghia.. Cheers. |
