Guys, check out this thread. It is a view of the Earth from the International Space Station. You folk with high speed internet can bang this up on your widescreens.
Try this link from Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ or... http://www.slate.com/blogs/bad_astro...e_station.html If the image is black/dark the ISS is traversing the night side of the Earth, if grey, it is a data drop out. But with an orbit being just over 90 minutes, you should see our blue Planet every 45 minutes in HD. Sweet.
