Default Wheels of Wamboin - 17 May 2014

Hello All,

The Wamboin Community Association is hosting the Wheels of Wamboin on Saturday the 19th of April at the Wamboin Community Hall on Bingley Way, Wamboin.

The event is for all things automotive and will be held in conjunction with the Wamboin Home Produce markets from 9am to 1pm.All sorts of automotive machines including old, new and interesting cars, motor bikes, trucks and even tractors are welcome.

Display entry is a gold coin donation and swap tables are $5 (remember to bring your cash as there is no EFTPOS).

Last year they had over fifty vehicles on display. There was an enormous variety from a Model T to a brand new XKR Jaguar and even two TEA Massey Fergusons turned up as well as a Malvern Star dragster bike. All up they had nearly 100 years of all types of motoring history.A bonus on the day is the opportunity to pick up some healthy bargains at the monthly local home produce markets.

The market day has freshly brewed coffee and a sausage sizzle. If you are interested in displaying your automotive masterpiece add your name below so we can confirm attendance to ensure adequate catering on the day.

Details
When: Saturday 19 April 2014
Where: Wamboin Community Hall, Bingley Way, Wamboin
Time: 9:00am-1:00pm
Cost: Gold coin donation to display car

Regards
Ray

Hello All, please note the change of date for this advent to 17 May 2014 and stated below.

Please note change of date to 17th May - due to Easter
Please note that due to Easter being on the third weekend of April the Wheels of Wamboin event has been moved to the 17th of May for this year. Many car clubs and owners have expressed that they will be away for Easter so we have decided to move to the following market Day in May.

Saturday 17th May 2014
9.00am to 1.00pm
(in conjunction with Home Produce Markets)
Wamboin Hall - Bingley Way Wamboin.
Gold coin display entry – Swap tables $5.
Please email peter.evans@wamboincommunity.asn.au for further information.

Regards
Ray

Another good tip, always have wife and grandson in car when cutting corners at roundabouts ,the police tend to feel sorry for ya and just give a warning
