For the Love of Cars sounds like a real nice journey. I see it looks to be UK based, none the less the cars have a presence in Australia.
I think my passion would be to somehow score the shell of an Ozzie Mk 1 Capri. I'd be happy with the Kent engine. I think the Capri V6 (4 on the floor) was the first performance/GT car I fell in love with (oh the sweet days of '85). Super Roo stickers on the front mudguards, red body paint.

It was really great and different to other British car restoration shows. The scene with the classic police car and the old siren was timeless.

You can see the whole lot on youtube, full episodes.
A good take on the old resto genre. Ive seen them all bar the finale auction and they are pretty Good and the presenters/characters are mostly likeable too which helps. Really describes the English anoraks well too. JP |

the English anoraks ? I'm sure we have plenty of our own.
Saw the tail end of the show last night. Yep, already on YouTube. I think Mk1 Escort values have just doubled (bother!!) |

I'm very interested in the Stag one. I got sick of mine breaking down in the 70s and gave it away!

I watched it, was interesting. One of the Harris guys reckons his ran an 11 second 1/4 though, bet sceptical, but it was quick. They resto'd an original orange sunroof car but removed the sunroof!

It makes me want to find my first car.
A 2 litre manual mk2 coupe. Man I popped too many diffs with that thing but it went and sounded great, especially with extractors, 2 barrels open and a fat chrome air cleaner on top.
