For anyone who is interested in shipping etc you can track most ship movements on this site.
https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ I follow all sorts of ships that interest me and currently the Costa Concordia is back online. Go to Giglio Porto, a little island off the west coast of Italy, and there she is surrounded by ocean going tugs ready to set off for Genova to be scrapped. Once they are underway you will be able to track the journey. Steven B |

Thats awesome. Took me a while to locate the island. But that is a cool site to track a boats location.

Found the island but can't find the Costa there, a few other ships though.

She is on the move to Genoa now towed by the Anchor Handling Ships (very powerful tugs) "Blizzard" and "Resolve Earl" traveling west out to sea north of the island at 2.5 knots. She will turn southwards shortly to round the boot of Italy.

I like looking off the Northwest coast of WA and seeing all the metal that is about up there.
A few of the large pipe-layer ships have been up there in the past few years. Then you go to Port Hedland or Dampier and see all the ships waiting to be loaded up with iron ore. |
