or lived in brisbane and like motorsport you should know what Lakeside is. they shut it down due to residents complaining of noise. its a fabulous track and should be reunited with its fans.

Thats a really old petition - unfortunately I think it will fall on deaf ears :(
I signed it a long time ago, but you'll find me somewhere between 1060 and 1080  The reality is that they can't remove it as its heritage listed, however it would cost millions to fix it as the track is basically destroyed - its not safe to drive on. I imagine it will sit there for another 15yrs, before someone finds a loophole and it becomes a housing estate.
