Did a radiator flush today on the XR. it was raining, but not that bad. Then the heavens opened up, so i got to lay in puddles of water trying to undo the "quick release" heater hose as per the gregorys manual.
How dare they call that "quick release" it was the longest part of the whole process. Baking soda in the overflow did a good job to clean it up a bit. So it was a frustrating exercise, but glad it is all done. Also, i am all for the hose clamps with the phillips head/socket adjusters, not the plier type, as a confined space is hard to get your pliers in and undo Still, love working on the car, learn something new about it every time you do something Still beats a day in the office Mike
