I like the look had the tailights on my XR6T tinted recently as well. My local ford Dealer "Repaired" them for me during my last service. Also had the side indicators near the front wheel arch done.

Before & After Pics.

Regards

M G

Can I ask why you have an XR8 badge on your car it it's an XR6T?

[EDIT]: Nevermind, it's just a 6 painted red. Just couldn't see properly in the pics.

its an XR6 badge with a red 6.
Not a fan of the tinted tail lights, they look ok on master g's car though because they're glossy, but imo the matt finish sort of cheapens the look of the car. My 2c

That's the expression she'll have when her head is mounted on the wall.

I did mine about 18 months ago, just to get them to match the car:

Ok, can you guys stop mentioning Judge Judy and "mounted" in the same sentence, I'm getting disturbing mental images.. :

Oh, and I do actually like the look of your lights Casper. It really suits the black more than lighter colours.

I done the same to a XF Falcon back in 91. They were very dark. I got hassled by the cops, had to go over the pits only to be told if i put brighter globes in they would pass it. The FC LTD's had tinted tail lights standard. The XF Tail Lights are for sale if anyone wants to buy them

Interesting.. I was wanting to tint my vans lights, but didn't know how to do it.

I'll go grab a can and have a couple practices of different shades on my two spare lights.
