I pulled my cruise wheel and buttons apart a long time ago as I am putting in the EF wheel etc, well I still have a few wires to connect up direct related to cruise control, so what I need to know is for the EA what colour wires connect to what connectors, both to the horn and those in the wheel.
I am sure some one has a pic floating around of a cruise wheel with buttons and no horn pad, thats all i need. Jason

im niot sure but sort of related, wen u push the on and off on my cruise the horn goes off! WTF?!? how orthm is that

also, EA2BA, if this hasnt been answered by the time i get home i'll pull out the workshop manual and let you know.

no but the thing is, the cruise still works, so does the horn and works fine! but u push the on and off buttons at the same time (not AT the same time but so they are both pushed) the horn goes off

its not a short or anything like that
the cruise buttons work off resistance..... you can do it with ANY cruise equipped car.....EA-EL |

I take it the 2 brown ones are earth and the blue/yellow wires are signal wires, and the yellow, well power maybe?

The black wire is the earth.
The blue wires go to the cc module The brown goes to the power/ horn relay So per the picture.. The brown (x2) from the on/off buttons and the set/cst buttons goes to the horn plate. The Yellow goes to the horn plate and then The blue from each of the buttons goes to the centre most connector on the wheel The black goes to the left most side of the wheel...
