Not all combo's work well you may need to check the brands. Genuine front Brembo 4 pot pads are $390 a set or you can buy pads from $120 a set but you should machine the rotors first and a rear upgrade would benefit you as well if you go to the larger 328mm vented rear PBR FPV style set up under $1000.

What front pads would you recommend for a daily driver that gets driven hard on weekend?

Machine the rotors first and then fit the pads and i have listed the top 4 pads we sell from top to bottom. We also do Remsa and project mu plus others but these are popular and good. In my opinion all FG automatics with brembo 4 piston front brakes are more prone to noise than other models. 1.Ferodo DS2500 if stopping is your priority $300 Best street/track option 2.Bremtec Evolve $180 dusty - Dusty inbetween hawk and ferodo Lower level street / track option 3.Hawk Ceramic $185 low dust - less initial bite but better than Bremtec - Performance street 4 Bremtec Endure $120 low dust - less initial bite - Performance street

I'd assume the ferodo is the dustiest since it'd be the most aggressive/softest pad for the highest grip?
Keen on option 2, not a track car and I trust your opinion I'll pull one of each current pad out and list what I have (assuming the number is still on it). Cheers for all the advice and help!! |
