looking around on this forum just makes me wana mod my fairmont haha. currently got 18 inch amgs on it but apart from that its stock. it would look a hell of a lot better if i lowered it, which ive been meaning to do. any idea how much it would set me back?

Im in Melb and there is a place near where i live that does 4 new king springs for $350 fitted. These are Lows and Superlows i asume.
Just call around local workshops, because there is always a better deal out there. |

Give Gt Suspension a call for Lovells Low or superlow springs , I'm sure that they will match any price.........

if your wallet is big then go superlows with new shocks, but if money is tight go with lows as the standard shocks will cope.
reason for new shocks with superlows is it is not a very comfy ride at all!

$240 should get you a full set of springs, front and rear. $120 for each pair.
It really takes mechanics nothing to put em in so you'd want to be getting a wheel alignment/balance if your paying $350. Seems a little steep to me.

thanks for the advice, will call around. i thought it would be a lot more than that so thats good news. wouldnt mind some superlows . cheers

i have king lows on my el and it looks ok to me if ya go to low you might have probs with insurance and those stupid concrete thing in car parks ( i do with the lows )
