Default Can a BA steering wheel be fitted to a AU

As per title, just wondering, I'm looking at a AU 1 and wondering if my FPV Chunky steering wheel will fit on an AU, both have radio and cruse control

Thanks for any advise, realise the BA air bag would have to be used

Default Re: Can a BA steering wheel be fitted to a AU

Wheel will fit, I'm sure you'd have to rewire the cruise and radio switch (as the cruise on au is activated on the indicator stalk).

AU airbag is single stage (1 plug) where as BA is twin stage (2 plugs). AU wiring will plug into one of the sockets on the BA bag, unknown as to whether the airbag is still active.

Apparently this does not set the airbag light off.
