I got a guy on facebook wants to know.
Pictured is an 18" rim. These are the same rim as on my AU2 so I'm thinking they won't fit, he said they came off a 91 mod fairlane. |

offset is 35mm to far toward the inside of the car, you need pre AU wheels for an XF.

A 91 model Fairlane will have same offset as an XF falcon , you need to determine the offset to answer this question , many later model rims were also made available in Pre AU offset .
its simple did the rims stick out an unreasonable amount from under the guard or did they sit inside neatly when on the Fairlane.

The guy on fb that I posted for is following this thread via link.
Can't say how they fit on the fairlane. I'm just going on a photo he put up. So if they fit on a 91 fairlane then logic says they'll fit an XF. Obviously there's a difference with the stance. the guys trying to play it say....buyer beware & all that. |

I think the offset would allow tyre to rub on upper control arm. Anyhow, I just offered him to try one of mine on his XF as I have a full sized 18 in the boot.
Nuf said. Thanks guys. |

Wheel spacers although illegal people use them, so the rims may not fit if spacers got used
