Do a search on the bike you're buying and check the dimensions.
Should fit no problem, I rode atv's for years and although I had 2 tray back BA's I never had any problems fitting them in different model commodore utes. |

I was trying to convince a friend of mine to get a Polaris Sportsman like mine (mines the 850 Touring), it fit in the back of his old-style Ranger, but.... I wouldn't recommend doing it, but I showed you could if you had to. Why? The back wheels were still on the ramp when I had to push the front ones over the wheel arches. It just felt a bit risky, and I actually told him he should get a trailer if he was going to buy one. Many severe accidents happen at loading and unloading from a pickup/ute. It clears the wheel arches on my F150, so doesn't feel as bad, but I have had the ramps slip even on that. The nice thing about the Falcon is it doesn't sit as high, so that probably makes it a little safer. Check the wheel arch thing, but if you get a Grizzly or Honda, it might be narrow enough anyway. Hope that helps.

Find the bike online
Get the dimensions off the spec sheet. Go to shed Get tape measure. Measure from wheel arch to wheel arch. Compare width of tub to width of quad. Then you can either do a happy dance....or mumble under your breath how ****** it is that the quad won't fit. Glad I could help.

Will a Quad bike fit in the tray of my ba ute? Its the same as asking: How long is a piece of string? What Brand? Model? Year? Width of tyres? (as they may be wider than manufacturer spec therefore increasing overall width). And if you dont have the bike with you, call your mate who owns it, and get him to measure it. Or if your looking to buy, pull the specs (as posted above) Too many variables, when you can simply grab the good ol' tradies best mate and find out in less than 2 mins flat. Easier than typing posting and waiting how long for a response that isn't EXACT to his situation. I mean, come on......

How heavy are quad bikes and does the Ute tailgate support that load. Cant remember the tailgate weight limit.
