We currently have window tinting on our western facing house windows. As one is starting to delaminate I am looking at options to replace. Options are replace the section damaged and hope they are the same. This is because it's on pane of a sliding door with windows either side.
Or other option is replace the lot. Question is has anybody had any experience with the clear film that still reflects up to 60% of heat. Benefits being it will then brighten our somewhat dark house.

We've got 30% I think.
Misses did it herself. Cost us under $500 to do a big house. Got the tint delivered from melb. Might've been pro tint. Only kind of clear we did was the White haze that u can't see thru for the laundry sliding door. Even tinted a triple sliding door, which were quite big.

We had Tint-a-car/ Tint-a-house replace ours recently. We put on the film with the reflective mirror tint on all our windows.
Stripping old tint off the windows + fitting of new tint on 6 large aluminium windows cost around $800. They did an awesome job, would definitely recommend them. |
