Default horse power

How much horsepower does a 4l ford produce and what is capable and still be streetable?

Bit more info than that mate - you probably want to mention a budget.
As for what is capable - Nixpro made a 1200hp XR6T engine - but it cost about 35-40k
What is streetable - probably something arount the 350kw mark which would be right on the limit of an Unopened XR6T engine.

Stock XT 4L produces 190kW - 250hp - but more like 140kW at the wheels
Stock XR6T engine is 270kW - 360hp again more like 210kW at the wheels

Anything else you wanted to know?

I think the 1994 models are about 140KW-160KW or something.

1994 EF
stock was 157kw (I think), XR6 was 164kw.

Peoples definition of streetable can be quite different, ive seen a vid of a 7sec pro stock Mustang driving on the street and going through a Maccas drive through, and thats not the best bit, it was also in the snow!

Streetable? Yes. Practical? No
