Did a little bit of research on here but no threads that fully clear up my concerns with Nite Shade. Firstly is it illegal? I'm planning to do something similar to a few other members on here, and that's just tinting the parts that don't reflect light. Secondly what do people think of the product? I was going to get VHT Niteshade. Thirdly clear coat afterwards?

Yes it's illegal. As your lights will no longer be ADR compliant.
