Apparently he told the manager he needed the wing installed as the car pulled soo hard on takeoff... didnt know a STOCK R31 had downforce issues at take off

I'm lucky, I only get the idiots who own subarus.

The latest knuckle dragger is a laugh and a half. Oldish guy, late 50s. First came in about a month ago, with a sales person. Was looking at an STI or a WRX. Couldn't make his mind up. The guys at STI hadn't sent him a broucher, so he was leaning towards the WRX (oh gee I don't know, DRIVE the things?!). Started asking the spare parts guy what was better (he punches numbers into a computer all day and drive an EF Ghia. What the hell is he going to know?).

Then it started. Oh god. "Oh yeah well I've owned Lambos, Ferraris, you name it". "yeah money isn't an issue at all". Whatever. We finally got rid of him.

Came back a week later, I hid.

Finally got a car. A black WRX. Was having issues with the alarm (don't they all), so he came back the day it was delievered. Complaining the engine was rough, even after we explained they run a bit rough when new a million times. Then the golden bit. "Yeah came back to the car before and found some idiot trying to pinch the back wheels. So I decked him. ******** is probably still there. I mean I'm ex SAS, he should of known better than to ИИИИ around with me". I seriously felt like punching him. Though he looked like he could of broken me in two so I thought better of it.

Came back again, still complaining about the idling. "I don't really care though, it's only $45,000, might as well just buy another one" Whatever mate.

Cars clearly turning over but they say its the battery....
Putting water in the oil cap, or vica versa.. seen it done, and just watched in amazement.
Driving cars with no air filters thinking you will get that extra 600HP
free reving to 3 grand and then putting it into drive
bragging how your 4cyl lancer eats ИИИИ over a falcon.
revving a 4cyl pretending it has grunt
blow off valve noises through a speaker (seen a site the other day.)

Walking into auto shop to get polish and stuff for the pink beast (had to pretty her up, used as a wedding car), sales man says he knows my car. I live 900kms away and have never driven it into that particular town (town was 1/2 hr from where we were staying), so pray tell how does he know my car, or maybe he assumes that I am a stupid blonde?? Had a good laugh @ him after telling him the car and I don't live there. That was a couple of weeks ago and it still cracks me up :-D

The blokes at work were telling me today about this idiot woman with a Focus that came in while I was on holidays. This focus came in on a towtruck, wouldn't start. Wouldn't even turn over. The woman had no idea why. She said "I topped up the water the other day because it didn't have any in it and then a day later it wouldn't start!"

Well sure enough it didn't start, had power but the engine wasn't turning. So they're looking for the problem, and they just couldn't work out the problem. Everything was as it should be. Then one of the guys just out of the blue thought he might check the oil, pulled out the dipstick and it was milky, so they pulled the oil cap off and what did they see? This stupid woman had filled the engine up with water from the garden hose, right to the top of the rocker cover! The block and head and everything was full of water from top to bottom. When they told her she couldn't believe she had done something wrong and asked if it would be covered by warranty. I believe their exact words were "Not a chance in hell."

Anyways, after no less than 20 oil flushes she fired up but ran like a dog... Only had 20,000kms on it. Another 10 oil flushes and a few bottles of wynns friction proofer and she was half decent, but we told her the engine probably wouldn't last too long. Hasn't come back yet!

When an RACV roadside assist bloke replaced the fan belt on dad's EBII (after it shredded itself a few kays away from town, on a hot day, going up plenty of hills), he told us about another call from the same day. A woman who had dual fuel also had overheating and the car stopped (as what happens when it's switched to LPG). She then had the bright idea to switch it to petrol and start it again. Lets just say the engine wasn't too good after that move!

Mate checked his oil by taking the cap off "to inspect" and driving around to see if there was a difference between hot and cold oil levels. WITHOUT putting the cap back on!!! Needless to say oil everywhere. Why not use the dipstick, that is why it is there.

Was drinking with the most obnoxious arrogant girl the other day when the conversation turned towards cars....oh...oh.
After she explained to me that "If you "bore' out your head, you can turn a v8 into a v12...I started talking to someone else immediately!
(earlier on she tried to tell me"no! if you were born in 1974 then youll be 33 this year!
like i dont know my own age.....hmmm)

supras are twin turbo inline sixes mate.not v8's..unless hes fitted a lexus 4 ltr v8 to it.
Might have been a soarer..they have optional v8's but theyre not turboed(only the sixes are turbo)...then again you could always twin turbo a soarer v8.
