There are a heap of XA, XB and XC's in the ACT and Queanbeyan area and I'm toying with the idea of starting a club for those makes.
Any advice on how to get started from experienced clubbers is welcome. I'm keen for it to be an online affair with minimal club meets and just a cruise now and then plus get togethers at the All Ford Days in Canberra and QBN. I'll build a web site, design the logo, do T shirts etc. If you're a likely future member - PM me or reply.

Advert in the local paper would be a start.

Get as many like minded people togeather as you can to start off. Arrange a few meet and greets, then see if people are willing to put their hands up for something more formal.
I'm up for a meet and greet (depending on when and where, of course). Cheers, Tahn. |

Clubs need to be registered etc...I dont know the ins and outs of it all. Sorry. Cheers Col

If you wanted to start a club i wouldnt really want to limit it to just a few models.... means less members and the club wont be viable.
You could say models XC and below... ?

I would make it el and earlier club. You need more than a few old farts to start a car club. Does it really matter if it's just xa to xc? As long as you have a bunch of ford enthusiasts.

You could start by coming along to "RJ's" Woden car park Friday nights from 8pm. Turning into a regular car hangout, and you can meet up with like minded car guys. If there are enough XA-XC's regularly turning up, then get your informal group started. I know of about 5 cars that could be interested in getting something going.
