Starting your own business is not easy. My wife is in the process of winding up her business after coming to the conclusion she would be better off working part time in Woolies or something like that.
3 years of us living on just my income and her doing 50-60 hour weeks for as little as 2 or 3 bucks an hour after expenses. Now I have to find the money to pay for her remaining expenses to close the business as she doesn't have a cent left. And that's not the end of it, this setback will affect our financial position for years to come and even our retirement (no super added for 3 years!). And I'm really looking forward to sorting out her tax return in July, sigh. Hats off to all the people out there running their own business. It can be a tough gig.
