IMPORTANT!!!! Scammers getting professional

Hi all, thought this was important to remind and educate some how professional the Scammers are getting with regards to making things look real.

The other day I spotted a 2005 Nissan Patrol ST 4.2 turbo diesel for a very cheap price in the courier mail. I enquired about the car and it all started to sound familiar. He worked overseas and the car was left to him by his dad in his will. I straight away went right we have a scammer. So I decided to see what I could do to get as much info out of him as I could. He referred me to a transport company via a web link that would handle the freight and money hand over. The thing is the web site was a very professional web site with and Australian ABN and an address and phone number, it also had testimonials from customers. I did a bit of digging with the ABN and found the freight company name the scammers used was another freight companies entity name, so I rung the legit freight company and told them what I had found. They immediately rung the police and told me that some guy got done in December for $30,000 and that the scammers had used there name and ABN to establish a dodgy web site that looked real.

So the thing is even if things look very legit make sure you do your homework and check everything you can and if it sounds dodgy don't buy it. If you suspect that it's a scam than report it to somebody. Cause if you walk away and do nothing you might let somebody else get ripped off.
