Hey,
My mum lives in a small country timber village and she can't seem to get internet. She has tried to get broadband for 2 years but no ports available. She used to have dial-up but it used to take 10mins just to load 1 page. Satelite is way too expensive and wireless dongle 3g is from no service to 1 bar so basically none existant. Thing is she needs the internet because she likes playing those city building games and the newer ones require steam and internet connection and this is making her depressed. Can any of you guys have any advice or other ways i haven't thought about. Feel bad but i can't really do anything about it. |

Pop over to telco antennae website and have a read. There's a couple of good guides to getting good wireless 4g or 3G service.

look at most wireless 3g dongles...they have a little tab that connects an antenna to it.
did this for a mate out the back of Merton and he now has full signal strength. just go to jaycar...they have everything you need. |
