Default Superyob Tuesday...

It seems that there is a frenzy of demand for Superyob Tuesday, generated by at least one member of this forum. Very well, I shall come out of retirement for an encore and force your mind to explore the nether regions of automobilia...

Two people are having dinner and arguing the merits of an inline turbo 6 cylinder and a 6 litre V8. There are only 2 possible conclusions possible in this scenario. Give up? Very well, I shall put you out of your misery. Turbo 6 guy drove an Aurion to dinner and 6 litre V8 guy complained that his quiche was a little overdone. Both were sipping latte of identical make up but one tasted better than the other... Spooky!!!

What do you think?

I think one was given a soy latte and the waiter tried to palm it off as being the same as the other latte.

I have a completely unrelated observation.

I have several Holden supporters as well as Ford people in my circle of friends, they forever have digs at each other re the vehicles they support when ever we have get togethers, drinks or BBQ's.

Now to my observation. Generally the Ford supporters arrived at said event driving a Ford of some description, the Holden supporters arrived in Suzuki's, Toyota's and Hyundai's, none drive or own a Holden

That reminds me, I need a prostate check. Might go for double digits for a second opinion.

An 850 Mini flat out at 110 will go past a Falcon idling at 100 all the time every time.

Do you know nothing?

If it makes it more difficult to see over the bonnet , thus making it even harder to park in those tight parking spots, then meh.....they are rubbish.
Damned parking spots are getting smaller you know !

Non stock? Not a fan but does not tickle my funny bone. Now a huge canon exhaust on a stock Hyundai or other hatch makes me laugh. Even though it's a sad sight really...

Ill share my recent scary scenario, i was doing 90 coming up to a 100 zone and out of absolutely nowhere, an AURION appeared, I DEAD SET SHAT, because i knew for a fact as i read it on here about an aurion that was the fastest 5 sec to 100 weapon on the road, so here i was in the cross hairs of danger having a genuine chance of seeing just how savage this aurion was in the flesh, so i changed gear back to "R" for race in my minter manual b series (quite possibly the healthiest in the west) and what would you know, the aurion flew past me like i was going backwards! The myth was true! I immediately proceeded to my closest toyota dealership and insisted that a full aurion driveline be installed in my healthy b series. Toyota promptly informed me they only do a 312kw package and this was just enough for perfect bragging rights. I am now in the 5 secs - 100km/h club!! YES!!! but i am the only person in the world to have one of these minter aurion b-series and it will never grace the presence of any real drag strip, just those of keyboards and fairy bread parties. Im off to change my rear main seal. Cheers

I have an E series with a XY shaker, XC bonnet scoops, quadruple exhaust tips with attached cannons, currently running LPG with a nice rusted patena finish.

A real sleeper weapon awaiting any fool Aurion or XR6T driver - currently fiendishly quick between 100 - 110kph - my mates, reckon about 350 kw per rear wheel tyre following a bbq get together and a couple of pokes in the eye.

A cousin of a friend of a mate fitted a B Series bonnet scoop to their Aurion.
Now it does 0-100 in 4.5 seconds.

I don’t understand why anyone would want to slow down an Aurion to a paltry 4.5 second 0-100 by adding a B Series bonnet scoop.

Did your cousin get his poor modding advice while attending a BBQ?

Exactly! Why mess with perfection. You have to be careful aswell, that kind of ridiculous modification can cause serious leakage from the rear main seal.

The chocolate one would appreciate more than the vanilla one as it had more bites , even though it was an older cake ( it was baked 1 day earlier ) , issue was picking them up from the store - the parking spots are getting smaller and its harder to get larger cars in there these days.....
However , the biggest win was the fact they were picked up in a CAMRY !!!
As the day was hot - the chocolate was at risk of melting - but have no fear, that CAMRY did 0-100 like a cut cat and made it back to the BBQ in time without even a drop of chocolate sweat......

Everyone was pleased except for the mate of the cousin of the bloke's sister's fatherin law's guardian - ( Oh crap now I've confused myself ) - anyway - that bloke reckons that the CAMRY is good but at that Price you couldve gotten 5 low klm Hyundai GETZ - 1 for every day of the week. DAMN..
