I've always thought that the story behind the GT40 would make a great movie. Ford being rebuffed by Ferrari, Enzo v Henry Ford II and the decision to take Ferrari on in Europe by designing and building a car to crush them at LeMans.

Unlikely. Race sanctioning bodies are requiring smaller displacement engines.

Well with the 2.7l V6 in the new F150, perhaps they will look at a smaller displacement V8 to replace the 3.5/3.7L V6

The Cobra Jet drag engine will likely become a twin-turbo 5.0. Ford already revealed such a concept. I don't know if it will have direct injection, though (the other component of EcoBoost).
