"The Ford F-150 Limited is a $60,000 exhaust pipe with a luxury truck attached to it, and it might be worth it.

Just look at the picture above. That square chrome tip is exclusive to the Limited, the F-150’s new top trim. Maybe I’m too much of a truck nerd, but it was the first thing I noticed when the pickup pulled up to Fox News HQ for an in-person sneak peek. Ford didn’t highlight the shape when the truck was announced a few weeks ago, but that square chrome peg in a circular world visually pops in an outsized way.

The rest of the truck is pretty nice too. There’s plenty more chrome on the outside, including the 22-inch wagon wheels, and the cabin is dressed in snazzy black over brown two-tone leather upholstery and real fiddleback eucalyptus wood trim that’s stained like a vintage sunburst guitar.

While 4x4 and various towing packages are options, the Limited also comes standard with nearly every premium and convenience feature offered on the F-150, including the Ecoboost 3.5-liter turbo V6, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, radar cruise control, power running boards, and massaging front seats.

Between them you’ll find the Limited’s second coolest feature: a VIN plate on top of the armrest with the truck’s model year and build number. Expect it the latter to rise quickly. The Limited won't actually be artificially limited when it goes on sale this winter, and with average transaction price for the F-Series now above $44,000, it’ll be interesting to see how high both numbers go."
