Weekly Race 4 Real Report: 2nd September 2015

Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!

Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.

Top Holden of the Week



This tough HJ was no joke, the bonnet cowl and slicks serving their purpose and rocketing the old girl down the quarter mile in 10.06 @ 134.4MPH.

Top Ford of the Week



This little yellow Cortina was working hard all night, managing a best time of 11.20 @ 120.6MPH proving it means business, paired with the classic Simmons wheels for a great overall package.

Top Japanese of the Week



The humble corolla has served a number of purposes over the years, this particular wagon has come a long way since its original release with a time of 10.38 @ 131.24 MPH.

Top Rotary of the Week



The FD RX7 is a timeless beauty from the land of the rising sun, powered by the 13b rotary engine it hustled down the quarter mile in 12.52 @ 109.64MPH

Top European of the Week



Who says size matters? This little European pocket rocket took on the big boys and managed to squeeze a respectable 12.52 @ 109.6 from its 1.8L Turbo.

Commentators Pick of the Week



A tidy looking Torana will always turn heads, this one was built tough and ran hard all night. Cruising down the quarter mile for an 11.21 @122.8MPH.
