Wow that is weird, cant believe they actually put the rotary into a HZ sedan into production!

It was a major flop if I remember correctly. The heavy tank of a car did not fit nicely with the little rotary. Probably wasted more fuel than a V8.

still over priced for a HOLDEN even with this engine in it

overstuffed burgundy velour with gold patterns... tasty! If I recall correctly from an article I read in Unique Cars a while back, they had all sorts of stuff (for an Australian car at the time) fitted to pass Japanese regulations - seatbelt warnings etc etc...

I heard about these when I used to own my HZ Premier.. heard they were really unimpressive due to the weight..
Should've put a cosmo 20bTT in then it would've turned heads That's what I wanted to put in mine. |

I saw one of the these in Bangkok.....
I was stuck in traffic jam surrounded by ricers and diesel hiace vans......and then out pops a HZ......made me homesick. |

They also had a fridge under the bonnet as an option. And if you don't think a Kingswood is enough to weigh a rotary down with, there was also a 20 seater bus with a rotary...
