Default Mountune mr230 - fiesta st

Hi

I was looking at getting the mountune mp215 kit and noticed that the mr230 kit is finally available from the UK store

Has anyone got it ? It works out to be like $aud4,000 , so it's a lot to spend without a demo or review

Also not sure where to get it all fitted

Thanks

Pretty sure Herrod have fit them, I saw one in a recent Motor mag. Maybe give them a call to see who they recommend in Sydney?

Cool thanks , was it a review on the kit by any chance ? It's so expensive I don't think I can justify it unless it's amazing

It was one of their hot tuner specials, from memory the car wasn't much faster than stock 0-100. I only glanced at the magazine but it was in the last couple of months. My dad subscribes to the magazine so I will see if I can locate the article next time I visit.

Just waiting for the CAT back exhaust to arrive which was order early December.
Everything else fitted except sports cat which has been delivered but will fit at the same time as exhaust.
Will let you know how it all goes.

Finally a review on it thanks , couldn't find it before in Google because it's under Herrod

Seems a bit better but I don't know if it's 5,000 better? Also does anyone in Sydney get the kit in and install?

5k for a mail order tune?? No thanks
I wouldn't even consider an exhaust from the UK either, their emission restrictions are tighter than ours so you would be paying through the nose for a very "conservative" bit of pipework dare I say....
.

.
It's a tune (with handheld controller), exhaust , intercooler , some piping and a cam adjustment . That 5k also included springs and an install of everything

The review is pretty happy about how much bang for your buck you get with this tune and the suspension upgrade.

I see they are using only 2.5" exhaust, very conservative. I reckon 3" would be way better.

Got my cam tool and MR badge today, now just need to find someone to do the cam adjustment.
I will give an update when the time comes.

Yeah I've fitted everything required for the MR230 myself apart from the down pipe, which I plan to have done at same time as cam adjustment happens.
