Hi all,
A bit of a strange one, but just after a bit of help in identifying what I think is a coolant hose on my Daughters car. Problem is that I am in Canberra, and she is in Brisbane, so I can't just go and have a look myself unfortunately. As the title says, it is a 98' Festiva 1.5 Trio Auto, and it has split a hose on the lower passenger side of the radiator. Being an 18yo girl, she is not being terribly helpful in her descriptions... Best I can work out is that it is a transmission cooler hose (if they have them), or a by-pass hose of some sort. She can't tell me if it had water or oil in it... I have called a couple of Ford dealers, but they haven't been overly helpful, so hoping someone on here may be able to tell me what the hose is. All Ford is saying is that they don't sell parts for them anymore, and as such don't seem overly concerned about trying to work out what it could be. I have done a search of cars for sale, but unfortunately there are none in Canberra that I can go and look at. I just want to work out what it is so that I can point her in the right direction to try and find one. Any help would really be appreciated Cheers Craig |

Hi There,
Hopefully the attached diagrams may help. Note there are two different engine confirgurations for WB Festiva 1.5L. Comes up 1.5 NA or 1.5 Kia. I have attached both for your reference. If you need more information let me know. |
