Attached is a leaked photo of what is apparently the facelifted Ford Fusion, which has only just arrived in Australia. It looks OK, although not as classy/mature as the current MD model IMO.

I like it. The lower bumper looks like it's taken off the Mondeo Vignale - it looks great.
This has just made my decision all the more difficult ...

More photo have leaked out: http://www.autoblog.com/2016/01/07/2...ion-spy-shots/
The look has grown on me although I'm not sure and possibly still prefer the cleaner lines of the current model. |

Rumours abound of Fusion / Mondeo ST AWD on its way !!!!! Oohh, aaah !!
I'm looking to get something smaller than my MB XR5 soon, but this would only make the decision harder. Mondeo..... best kept secret of Ford AU. |

Wherever I read about the Sport model noted the quad exhaust pipes and speculated about it having a 2.7 V6 ecoboost. I'm pretty sceptical about that. The more obvious engine would be the 2.3 ecoboost. If its good enough for the Mustang it will be good enough for the Mondeo. Either would be good though.
Maybe there will be a 2.3 ST and later a 2.7 V6 RS?

Well where is my hat so I can eat it? It's official.
http://www.caradvice.com.au/408180/2...lines-changes/ Whether we will get it remains to be seen I suppose.

Could be another lost opportunity to bring a one-FORD global headline model to AUS.
Fingers crossed...maybe when Falcon is truly dead and buried. |
