I am looking at buying a FPV and the owner can't find the engine number for me to do a security check on the car.
Can someone point us in the right direction please. |

The engine number is on the block behind the water pump on a Boss 290 and 260

Shouldn't you be using the VIN number and not the Engine number. If the engine has been swapped and the road authority haven't been made aware of it, you wont get the correct info.

Xisled that is exactly what i want to be sure has not happened. So i will be using both engine and vin numbers to make sure they correspond.
