That sits around the front of the battery, lower part of the battery box which is made up of this part and another...

See attached, part 10757 in the diagram. it matches the part number on the part.

Thanks for that. It doesn't look like the one in the diagram though. Perhaps because that is an LV Focus. I shall have a ferret around in that area. Thanks again.

Find it strange it should be in the glovebox. Might be an idea to check the battery and that it is the right type and size for the car. It might have been left out because the battery is slightly larger?

No problem. I checked the LT Focus and image is the same. if there are few different varients of that part for a particular model, than they will only show one picture, but the part itself will be dependent on model itself and will give an option of different part numbers to suit, if that makes sense. Image is not always a true reflection of the actual part.

Yep, certainly is the front panel of the battery tray. Looks like someone swapped a battery and forgot to put it on. Looks like battery will have to be disconnected or the clamp undone at least to get it on. Will do it when I service it in the next few days as its about to hit 30,000Km.
