So... how can a road be considered safe at 100 one week, but only safe at 80 the next week? Doesn't this prove the revenue raising claim is true?

Lowering the speed limit on roads in Qld is the easy way for the gov't to make unsafe roads safer. Instead of fixing/repairing/rebuilding the road they just lower the limit - saves them spending money and also increases the coffers with more fines!
