Very strange...why do you have parkers?
I only have the LED DRL's!
In the headlight assembly it just has a chrome "plug / bung" where a bulb should go.
That was the same as my previous Titanium also!

Couldn't tell you why I have parkers, I thought this is normal?
I do know that the DRL's automatically dim slightly once any form of headlight is turned on though.

On a side note with the Auto Highbeam from previous posts, I worked out the other day by accident that if I were to turn on either of the front or rear Fog Lights it will automatically deactivate the Auto Highbeam from working. Obviously this is to compensate for real fog!

Same here as ope126 - dimmed DRLs functioning as park/position lights, and a bullet-shaped chrome "blank" inside the headlight below the high-beam bulb.

I guess the wiring for the park lights must still be behind the headlamp, just with no bulbs installed. If DRLs and projector lamps were ever an optional combo in Europe it would explain why that exists. I think I read that ADRs limit the number and placement of parking/position lights, so for AU-spec cars they disable (omit) the extra set of parkers.

As to why you had pre-existing bulbs, maybe a previous owner added them?

Not sure why they would have been added previously, they were only little 5W T10 Globes.

Had to change the battery the other day in one of the remotes.

Clever Convers+ was telling me for about a week and a half that it needed replacing. Not sure what would of happened if it did go flat whilst driving or away from home?

No ill effects at all afterwards, worked as normal.

So does it indicate at all which key fob the message is for or you just infer by which one you have in your pocket at the time?

You can still lock/unlock and start the car using the detachable key blade hidden inside the fob. While driving would be the interesting one, you'd probably get some kind of Key Not Detected message, and maybe after some time the car would shut off?

For your info, I have a MC Titanium hatch and when I park up and want to keep the radio on I just put the car in N (Neutral) and turn it off and the radio stays on. The dash goes blank the same as normal with a message to put the car in park.

Neat trick!!

I just tried that and it worked in my car.
Need to keep foot on the brake / use handbrake but it does the job.
There are a few people that will be very pleased by this!

Doesn't pressing power on the HU do the same, (with keys out) my MB says it'll keep it powered for 1hr.

Tried this out this morning, what a champ!

And to add when your finished listing to said radio you knock the lever back to Park and the radio turns then off by itself.

No, just that the battery needs replacing. Doesn't tell you which one, should of probably tested it out with both fobs whilst one was going flat though.
